FOSTER COMMENTS:  Boo is a happy and loving little dog.  He is very smart and eager to please, which makes him easy to train.  Boo is housetrained, has excellent leash manners and knows basic commands - sit, lay down, wait - and is learning others.  He loves to play fetch or wrestle and run in the yard with his foster pack.  He gets along great with other dogs, has learned to live with cats and is a quiet boy.

Boo does have some separation anxiety if left alone so he will do best with at least one other dog and in a home where his people are with him most of the time. He needs the confidence another dog can bring into his life.  He has been doing well in his foster home staying in the laundry room with one other dog  while his foster mom is at work two days a week.  Boo has so much love to give and is quite content  just being in the same room with his foster Mom. Can he come and hang out with you?  

EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Boo was found as a stray and taken to a rural shelter.  BFPA was happy to admit this sweet dog.  He was adopted in January 2017 but returned to BFPA in October 2017.  The adopters work schedule became very hectic and Boo was being left alone for long periods of time.  Since Boo is happiest with people around him and loves the security of having another dog around, the adopter felt Boo would be better off in another home.  So we are looking for his forever home again and hope that if your lifestyle and home is one that Boo will thrive in,  you will consider making him a part of your life and pack.
