Oh, hello there! I’m Dori. I’m a GORGEOUS 4-year-old tuxie girl looking for a very special person to call my own. Let me tell you a little about me.

I was rescued from a hoarder and spent most of my life living on a wire shelf in a laundry room. I have also fought some big health battles, including having my teeth removed.

But NONE of that has stopped me from loving life and loving people!

I completely bliss out when I get kisses and pets, and I’ll just about deafen you with my purr! I am also quite chatty and enjoy long conversations with my human friends. And since I’m no longer stuck in a small room, I love playing with my toys. Though I must stay, my time in lockup helped me develop a great imagination that I use when I play.

My ideal home will be one where I’m the only pet. And because I still have a few health issues, I occasionally need medicine, but I NEVER complain (I’m also good about nail trims). Especially when there are treats involved!

Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina.  All animals will be up to date on all  vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro chipped before the adoption  is finalized. Fee is $225 for dogs, $115 for cats.
