CAR RIDES: Max does great in the car, he is very attentive to his surroundings and loves to look out the window and take in all that is happening. FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Max is a fantastic dog. He is a true Mr. Congeniality and gets along well with all people and animals that cross his path. He is very submissive and respectful of the reactions of others and has a very gentle and comfortable demeanor. He has played well with all the dogs he has encountered, including regular frolicking with our blind dog. Max absolutely adores the company of people, he will follow around and observe whatever activity is occurring and settle down beside you for cuddles and attention when you sit down. Some of his favorite pastimes include carrying around his stuffed “babies” and looking at his own reflection in mirrors or glass. Max deserves and would be forever grateful for a great family that will provide him with the love and attention he adores. EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Max was the victim of a failed domestic situation when a couple separated he was surrendered to the Granville County shelter. Max likely did not get much care or attention in his previous situation and was shy and fearful in the noisy shelter environment. All this sweet boy wants now is to be loved and noticed in life and return this love and attention.
