EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Leah is one of Luna's 9 puppies. BFPA pulled the puppies' pregnant Momma, Luna from a rural shelter. The animal control officer said her owner surrendered her when he discovered she was pregnant. They were not able to allow her to have puppies at the shelter, so that put Luna at high risk to be PTS. This adorable family was saved and are all thriving. The puppies will be ready to leave their momma, and start their exciting new lives after their first vaccination in the middle of June 2014 ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical requirements we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to a single, couple or family who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Any children in the home under 6 years old must have experience living with a dog in their home. Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed. We do home visits to finalize adoptions and/or deliver the adopted dog. Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina. INTERESTED IN ADOPTING LEAH?
