STATUS: Samuel has been adopted by Jennifer and Mike Reese and their dog, Scarlet -- all of Cary. PERSONALITY TRAITS: Very affectionate, playful and sweet tempered, even in new environments. Samuel is intelligent and eager to please. ~DOB: November 2013 WEIGHT: Samuel will likely be a medium-sized dog as an adult. HEALTH STATUS Samuel is UTD on all vaccinations -- including rabies -- and monthly preventatives. SPAYED OR NEUTERED: Neutered. MICROCHIPPED: Yes. AROUND DOGS: Good AROUND CATS: Untested AROUND CHILDREN: Untested, but likely friendly HOUSEBROKEN: puppy in training - he is doing really well CRATETRAINED: Yes LEASH MANNERS: Very good. He stays close by when on his leash and does not CAR RIDES: Good! He likes to snuggle in the car if there is another passenger or he likes to sit in your lap. He does not cry or bark and is calm. FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Samuel is a sweet-tempered puppy and is easy to love. His favorite thing to do is curl up in your lap. He is calm and easygoing, and loves to get his belly rubbed. He sleeps well at night and is good throughout the day and his potty training is going well. He loves everyone he meets and does not get overwhelmed when there are a lot of people around - instead he tries to get as much love as possible! He is very smart and has learned how to sit so far. He likes to play fetch and is good about using his chew toys to help his teething. He feels most comfortable when he is around his people and will not wander too far away from you. He is very curious and is getting used to all the sights and sounds he experiences outside. EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Samuel and his brother were rescued after being neglected by a breeder, and while this awful beginning might have caused other dogs to become shy or timid, Samuel is ready to put his past behind him! Fee is $225 for dogs, $115 for cats.
