FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Artie is extremely loving and just wants to be near humans! He especially loves sleeping beside you on the bed with his head on the pillow. Another of his best qualities is that he is fairly quiet and does not bark much. Artie will get very excited to see people and still has a tendency to want to jump up for affection. He gets along really well with all types of dogs and is submissive to both cats and dogs. He loves to play once another dog initiates. He knows how to sit and shake and will take treats gently. EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Artie was found as a stray and turned into the Wake County Animal Shelter by Animal Control. He was in desperate need of grooming and was very skinny. Despite this he remained happy, cheerful and loving, even at the shelter where he was very scared. Thankfully BFPA had a foster Mom that had room in her heart and home to save his life.
