FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Xander is a very playful puppy who loves playing with toys and his brother Xavier. He has the absolutely sweetest face to go along with his lovely demeanor, which just makes you want to cuddle him for hours!

EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Xander and his brother Xavier along with mom Buffy were brought into BFPA from a shelter where they had been surrendered as an unwanted litter. A shelter volunteer called BFPA to save these babies, and we were happy to admit them to our foster network!

ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: Requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to a single, couple or family who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Any children in the home under 6 years old must have experience living with a dog in their home.

Fee is $225 for dogs, $115 for cats.
