FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: S'mores is an energetic puppy but easily calms down and loves to lay in someone's lap or just be by his people. He loves to play with his sister and his favorite toy is a cardboard box! He is highly motivated by food so he will be an excellent puppy to train. EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: S'mores and his eight littermates came to BFPA from a shelter where they had been surrendered as an unwanted litter. A shelter volunteer called BFPA to save these babies, and we were happy to admit them to our foster network! ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: Requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to a single, couple or family who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Any children in the home under 6 years old must have experience living with a dog in their home. Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed. We do home visits to finalize adoptions and/or deliver the adopted dog. Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina. INTERESTED IN ADOPTING S'MORES?
