FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS:

Nadia loves people and other dogs, and is very affectionate and loves to snuggle. She enjoys playing with her foster sisters but can get very loud and assertive when the play is too rough for her taste! She is very loving and is working on her manners, not jumping up on people and nipping at hands. She is not fully house trained but listens well and is making good progress.  She is crate trained and goes to her crate in her own to take naps. Nadia will be spayed before adoption is finalized.

EVERY DOG HAS A STORY:   Nadia was rescued from a house that was giving away puppies for free. She and her siblings were outside in the heat of the day under a carport, where they huddled together and acted nervous, but wagged and licked at the people visiting at the same time. A volunteer for BFPA saw the sign and puppies.  BFPA was happy to admit the puppies and find wonderful homes for them.

Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed. We do home visits to finalize adoptions and/or deliver the adopted dog. Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina.

ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: Requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to a single, couple or family who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Any children in the home under 6 years old must have experience living with a dog in their home.
