FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS:  River is a fun, friendly and loving girl who only wants to please. She loves being near her people. She's an outgoing dog who loves to be active - once exercised River is perfectly happy to quietly lay on the floor with her people nearby - her tail will wag if you so much as look at her!. River will be a wonderful addition to her forever home. River needs an new owner who will take her on walks every day and play with her, another doggy friend of a similar breed & size would be fabulous for her.  She has never met a stranger and loves to greet new people with lots of kisses!
EVERY DOG HAS A STORY:   River  is an owner-surrender. Her young owners got her from a shelter as a puppy, 18 months later they were leaving for college and cannot take her with them, their parents travel for work, so poor  River  had nowhere to go. She was so confused at being left behind. BFPA were happy to help this adorable dog to find her true forever family.

Fee is $225 for dogs, $115 for cats.
