Lacy loves to play with other dogs, snuggle beside you and go for walks. She can have a lot of energy so she does need to have long walks or a place to exercise. She also enjoys toys and is a loving companion. Lacy can be a bit shy at first and it takes a little time for her to warm up to new people. But once she trusts them, she is a love bug and wants to be next to them all the time. She is curious and intelligent. She loves to be outside and is a calm dog when inside...unless the door bell rings!
She will bark at strange sounds, animals or people she sees outside.
She would do best in a home with older children. She likes other dogs and would do well with another dog who wants to play a lot. She usually will try hard to engage another dog into play.
Sometimes, all she wants is to sit in your lap. Is your lap available?

Lacy's owner recently passed away and a close friend is now fostering Lacy. Lacy has been through troubling times and certainly is missing her human. She is getting used to a new routine and while she undoubtedly is still stressed, she is doing well. She is getting ready for her new forever home and wants to bond with another family. Please consider meeting Lacy and making her a part of your home.
