FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS:   Sage is a sweet and laid back puppy, he loves considerate children and all adults.  He gets along great with other dogs and loves to play.  He looked like a St. Bernard as a puppy but as he gets older he looks a bit more like a Bloodhound.  His mom is a beagle mix but dad must have been a football player as Sage is quite large for a puppy!  If you love large laid back dogs Sage might be the one for you!  Sage needs another dog to keep him company and would do best in a home (not apartment) as he will cry if left alone without any companionship.

EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Sage  and his 7 siblings were born on 1/5/17.  Their Mother, Rosie, is a BFPA dog who was pulled from a shelter a few weeks before her puppies were born. BPFA not only saved the life of Rosie but also her 8 puppies who are all now looking for their forever homes. Please consider adopting one of these special puppies.

ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: Requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to a single, couple or family who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome.
