He loves being near his people but is not clingy or needy. He is perfectly happy to quietly lay on the floor, and loves to curl up with his family and other dogs. When he gets excited and playful, he loves to roll over on his back for belly rubs and back scratching! Baxter has fit in quickly and easily with his foster family's dogs and is very respectful of cats. EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Baxter was rescued from the Duplin County animal shelter as a stray. When no one came forward for him, shelter volunteers reached out to BFPA on her behalf. We were happy to admit this sweet boy to our network and help this sweet boy to find his forever home.
