Taffy has had basic training and already knows a lot of commands. Taffy would love the company of another dog, she does well with dogs that are her size or larger than her. Bonus....she also does fine with dog savvy cats. Taffy likes her squeaky toys and a good game of fetch, she calms down easily and is not overly energetic. She loves to be with her humans and just chill while everyone hangs out. Taffy is quiet normally and only barks when someone comes to the door. She does not need to be crated and is housebroken. EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Taffy was rescued by one of our volunteers that found her mom and siblings on the streets of Sanford. Living on the streets can be tough and Taffy learned to fear strangers to protect herself. She has come a long way in training and is doing really well in a home with structure and guidance. A dog savvy owner would find her easy to train and work with. Please consider making a new life for Taffy where she can succeed and be a great pet once again.
