FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS Daphne is the only female pup from a litter of 7 we rescued from a rural high-kill shelter in North Carolina. She's a character!! She loves playing with her foster's dogs and is a quick learner. Only 8 weeks old on March 3, and she's already learned to sit for dinner and treats. She loves to play, and she loves to snuggle. Daphne was found with her littermates, all strays, searching for food and shelter in Montgomery County. Because she and her brothers were struggling to survive, she was a little timid of people at first. She's quickly learned to trust people and she's quickly learning good manners. Because she loves playing with her foster's dogs, Daphne would do best in a home with other dogs to play with! EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Daphne and her 6 siblings were born on 1/6/17, and started their lives as stray dogs, searching for food and shelter. The shelter reached out to Best Friend Pet Adoption to save these babies. Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed. We do home visits to finalize adoptions and/or deliver the adopted dog. Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina. ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: Requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to a single, couple or family who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Any children in the home under 6 years old must have experience living with a dog in their home. INTERESTED IN ADOPTING DAPHNE?
