FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS:  Carl is very loving and sweet. If someone is on the floor with him, he assumes they are just there to rub his belly. Carl is a little nervous on the first meeting and needs proper introduction. He is good with children; they just need to ignore him until he knows them. There are 4 kids at my house 1-3 times a week, ages 5 and under. Carl will take a nap in the middle of where they are playing. Once he settled into my house, he is completely at ease. He likes to be outside, but likes it much better when his people are out with him. He is learning basic manners, and is doing well.

Carl loves the Fried Egg toy that he plays with and also likes to chew his Elk antler. He is cute, lovable and a happy dog.   Carl likes all people but  tends to warm up to women quicker. He prefers to greet people once his is comfortable and is skittish of strangers that want to pet him immediately.  He does not like getting in the car, but once he is in, he will find his spot. He also does not like going in the crate, but once in, he settles easily

EVERY DOG HAS A STORY:  Carl was rescued from a small, rural shelter.  BFPA is now looking for a furever home for this cute guy. Could you envision this handsome boy in your home??
