FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Roy is a stunning black lab mix with one blue eye and one brown eye.   Roy 'Blue Eye' is extremely curious, brave and smart.  He is the sweetest boy and enjoys running and playing with his buddy, Gonzo.  He is well mannered and has already learned to 'Sit' for his treats.  We are working on 'Come', "Leave It' and walking on our leash.  He is extremely quick witted and a problem solver (Like, how do I get to those treats in the bird bath?)  He's not always happy about 'going to bed', but settles in quickly and is quiet through the night. He is essentially housebroken, as we have had no 'accidents' in the  house.... although, it is a mad dash to the door for sure :)  He responds well to the kids in the neighborhood.  He speaks to the rabbits, but has not chased them. He is an adorable, delightful puppy who will steal your heart.

EVERY DOG HAS A STORY:  Roy along with several other puppies were rescued from a small, rural shelter.  The puppies were found as strays by animal control and taken to the shelter.  When BFPA heard about these poor souls, we immediately stepped in and brought them into our organization. They are all in loving, foster homes now and looking for their forever homes.   They are the Final Four puppies!   Gonzo, Roy, Ducky and Caroline  are all in loving foster homes now and looking for their forever homes.  Would your home be the one Roy is looking for???

ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: Requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to a single, couple or family who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Any children in the home under 6 years old must have experience living with a dog in their home. INTERESTED IN ADOPTING  ROY        ?
