Plus, the shelter felt she was probably pregnant. The shelter contacted rescue groups to see if anyone could admit this momma- to-be quickly. On June 11th, she gave birth to 10 puppies! Her puppies are now weaned and Raven is looking for her forever home. She loves to be with her people and especially loves to snuggle. She is gentle and gets along great with other dogs. Ideally she would love another friendly dog to play with and a fenced in yard to run and play. She does not need to be crated, is house trained and does well on car rides. Raven is heartworm positive and going thru treatment now so adoption will dependant on where she is in her treatment plan. BFPA covers the cost of this treatment and once treated there should be no long term health effects.
