She typically sleeps on her back with her paws up in the air. It looks so funny! She is always trying to instigate every other dog to do this play fighting. She was the first one and is still one of the only ones that barks when I open the door to the house, does that play fighting, growling noise and uses her paw a lot to bat the other dogs to get them to play. She loves to play! I think Virginia has the biggest personality. EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Virginia is one of Raven's puppies. Raven was in a shelter and her time was getting short. Plus, the shelter felt she was probably pregnant. The shelter contacted rescue groups to see if anyone could admit this momma- to -be quickly. BFPA had a wonderful foster who said she would love to help this dog so we admitted her into our group. On June 11th, Raven gave birth to 10 puppies including Virginia. There are 5 females and 5 males. They are all looking for their forever homes now. Virginia and the other puppies will be available for trial adoptions beginning the first week in August after their first set of vaccines. The puppies will need to remain in the adopters home/yard to ensure that they are not exposed to dangerous viruses until they have their second set of vaccines approximately one month later. They will not be able to go to dog parks, doggie day care, other yards, etc. before getting their second vaccines. Virginia's adoption will be finalized after she is spayed, so the adoption trial period will be longer than normal. BFPA pays for all medical costs until adoptions are finalized. If you are interested in adopting Virginia or any of these puppies, please complete an application using the link below. If you are approved, you can meet the foster Mom and Virginia as well as all the puppies. Each one is different in looks and personality! Please consider adopting one of these snuggle bugs! ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: Requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to a single, couple or family who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Any children in the home under 6 years old must have experience living with a dog in their home. INTERESTED IN ADOPTING VIRGINIA ?
