FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Rosco is a wonderful dog. After only having him a few days,  he has fit right into our family and our lifestyle.  Since  being surrendered  by his owners and then living in a shelter, it is quite amazing how well adjusted he is and how quickly he acclimated to living in a new home.   He gets along fine with our other dog and a bonus...he gets along fine with our 3 cats!  Rosco is learning to take walks on a leash because we don't have fenced in yard.  He does great on walks.  He is loving and easy to foster.  He has very good house manners and will make an outstanding addition to any family.  Rosco deserves only the best that life can give him.

EVERY DOG HAS A STORY:

Rosco and 7 other dogs were owner surrenders from the same family. They were surrendered to a small, rural shelter because the owners realized they could not give the dogs proper care.   A BFPA volunteer who lives in the area became aware of these dogs and contacted BFPA to see if we could admit them.  We gladly admitted them into our rescue and are making sure they receive proper vet care and will find good home for them.

Two of the dogs were pregnant so we saved many more than 8 dogs on a very sunny, hot day in July! Please consider opening up your home to Rosco or another one of these precious "just the right size" dogs! Except for the two pregnant dogs, all these dogs will soon be posted on our web site.
