He is very attached to his foster Mom. He needs an owner who is willing to go slowly with him so he can gain confidence and this could take several months as he has been through alot in his previous home. He is great with other dogs and even cats. If you want a very cuddly lap dog with good house manners and good with other animals, Finn would make a great companion. He just needs the time to warm up and realize that he is safe with you. He is a perfect size for your lap! Finn should go to a home with older children and preferable owners that have prior dog experience only due to his fear issues. EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Finn and 7 other dogs were owner surrenders from the same family. They were surrendered to a small, rural shelter. A BFPA volunteer who lives in the area saw these dogs and contacted BFPA to see if we could admit them. We gladly admitted them into our rescue. Finn is now looking for his forever home and hopes you will consider making him a part of your family.
