FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Forrest is a small puppy who loves to play with another puppy and also his BIG foster sister! He is gentle and tiny. His favorite toy is a very tiny rope....tiny toy for a tiny boy:-) Forrest is going to need time to get used to any new environment. He can be very shy at first but he has come a long way in just a couple weeks. When we first brought him home from the shelter, he hid and we could hardly get near him. It was really sad thinking of what his life must have been like before BFPA rescued him. But now, he wags his tail when he sees us and comes to the door to see who is coming down the stairs in the morning. It is such a joy to see him happy and gaining confidence every day. He is still a little afraid to make eye contact when he is held, so we are working on that. Overall, he is a sweet, gentle little guy. Could he come and wag his tail at your house?? EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Forrest and 3 other puppies were left in a box outside a shelter. The shelter alerted BFPA and we gladly admitted them into our rescue. They are all in wonderful foster homes now and are looking for their furever homes. ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: Requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to a single, couple or family who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Any children in the home under 6 years old must have experience living with a dog in their home. INTERESTED IN ADOPTING FORREST?
