FOSTER COMMENTS:   Tez is a very sweet, gentle boy who loves to be petted and thrives on attention. Tez is a laid back guy and estimated to be 8 years old.   He came to BFPA overweight and is on a weight loss regime now.  He has lost around 9 lbs but still weighs in at around 130 lbs.  He is a big dog with a gentle personality.  Due to his large size we think Tez would do well with bigger children, 12 and older. His recent vet visit showed a clean bill of health!  

Tez seems a bit cautious of new people at first, but once he gets a sniff and approaches them, he wags his tail and welcomes the attention.  He is house trained and sleeps well through the night.  Tez has impeccable house manners, isn't destructive and doesn't need to be crated when left alone. We think Tez would love to be an only dog as he really enjoys peace and quiet and revels in attention from his people.  He is not currently living with cats but he probably would do best in a home without a cat.  He has been mostly disinterested in other dogs he's seen.  Being that he's spent much of his life being rather neglected, we would love to find him the perfect family to spend the best years of his life with!  Please check out his video:-))

EVERY DOG HAS A STORY:   Tez was an owner surrender because his family moved and didn’t take him along. How very sad for a senior dog to be removed from his family/pack. 

Please consider giving this gentle giant a forever home. He is a sweet dog who deserves to have a  furever home and all the attention he wants and truly deserves.
