FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Peach and her littermates will be available for trial adoption December 8th. Their mother is 35 lbs and a Plott Hound mix, dad is a larger lab, we cannot guarantee what their adult size will be. Because these puppies will have not been fully vaccinated yet you must be able to stay in town for the holidays as they cannot move environments due to the high risk of catching a contagious virus. EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: These pups are currently on the east coast of North Carolina with their mother and are an owner surrender. On December 8, 2017, they will be transported to the Cary area for their first check up and vaccination. Peach will then be ready to begin her new life in her forever home! Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed. We do home visits to finalize adoptions and/or deliver the adopted dog. PLEASE NOTE: Peach will only have one set of vaccines so if a trial adoption begins before her second set of vaccines, the potential adopters will have to keep Peach in their home and yard to minimize the risk of exposure to germs. Interaction with unknown dogs at pet stores, doggie day care, etc. should be avoided during this period. ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: Requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to a single, couple or family who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Any children in the home under 6 years old must have experience living with a dog in their home. INTERESTED IN ADOPTING PEACH?
