FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS:  Taco did not start out with the best life.  He was a yard dog that got no attention or care.  While he starts out a little shy with men, he warms up quickly with patience and treats.  He likes lots of treats and is making up for the time when he probably didn't even know what a treat was.  Taco wants to be with his family and is determined to be on the couch and/or bed whenever possible.  He doesn’t hog the bed but does like to cuddle.  He likes cushy spots and the finer things in life !   Like many small dogs, he has a bit of a stubborn streak but training is going well and he is learning quickly. He has only been in a home for a short time and it appears he is housebroken already. Taco will bark when someone comes to the house but otherwise, he is quiet other than when he is playing.  He has that play growl going big time:-)  

Taco loves playing with other dogs and will need a confident dog that won’t get annoyed!  He adores children and is learning to go to new places and have new experiences.  He loves to go for walks, cuddle, play and eat.  Any kind of chew toy will keep him busy. He is happy, relaxed and playful.  Taco is looking for his forever home and hopes that you will consider him. 

EVERY DOG HAS A STORY:  Taco was surrendered to a rural shelter when he was only 10 months old.  His  owners just didn’t want him anymore.  He had been living outside his whole life with very little care or attention.  Taco sat in the shelter for a month until BFPA scooped him up.  History is in the past….we’re focused on the future and looking for a wonderful home where he can be treated with kindness and respect. Could that home be with you???
