FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Neva is a typical, fun loving puppy who loves learning about the world.  She certainly likes being inside but loved seeing snow for the first time!  She thought it was great fun to chase snowflakes and play around in the new white stuff in her yard. Neva is learning about potty training and other manners so she can be a wonderful pet for some lucky family.  Neva loves other dogs so another playful dog in the family is a must for this sweet girl. Could that family be yours?  Please consider adding Neva to your family.  

EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Neva and her siblings were living outside in frigid temperatures along with their Mother.  A volunteer alerted BFPA about this situation and we were able to convince the family to surrender the puppies to our rescue group.  They are now all in warm, wonderful foster homes and waiting for their forever homes.

PLEASE NOTE: Neva has only had one set of vaccines so if a trial adoption begins before her second set of vaccines, the potential adopters will have to keep Neva in their home and yard to minimize the risk of exposure to germs.   Interaction with unknown dogs at dog parks, pet stores, doggie day care, etc. should be avoided during this period. 

ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: Requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to a single, couple or family who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome.
