FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Zach is a sweet, gentle and affectionate black lab mix. He gets along well with other dogs and cats. Zach likes to play with my other dogs and has fit in well in my home. Snuggling and sleeping are also favorite pastimes of Zach's. He is going to be an amazing pet for some lucky family. Could that family be yours?? Zach is heart worm positive so timing of an adoption trial will be dependent upon the treatment schedule. BFPA pays for this treatment and his adoption will be finalized after treatment is completed and he is "good to go". EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Zach wandered into a yard in a rural area of NC. The people who lived there tried for several weeks to find Zach's owners. When they failed to locate Zach's owner, BFPA was contacted because the rescuer knew they were not able to keep him permanently. We are so grateful that they took in this handsome boy and we are now looking for a permanent home for Zach.
