She is around 3 years old and weighs 55lbs. Sadie has been around lots of teenagers in and out of our home and is happy to meet all of them. She has had no interaction with younger children but judging how she does with all the other people she meets, once she gets used to them, she should do fine. ​She lives with both cats and a dog and does well with both. Please note her photo with a cat sleeping peacefully close by! Cats need to be dog savvy though. Sadie is typically quiet but will occasionally bark at things outside or bark to play. She likes to play with her foster family or with a ball. She loves to snuggle with her foster family and give kisses. She likes being petted and given belly rubs. She is an overall sweet and loving girl. Sadie will do best with a fenced in yard.
We do not crate her and she is fine in the home when the fosters are away. She has great house manners and is totally housebroken. Sadie walks fine on a leash. She
knows sit, down, come, and stay. She listens very well and is eager to please her humans. She is spayed and microchipped as well.
Sadie is waiting for her forever home and will be a great pet who will be devoted to her owners.

Applicants must live no further than one hour from Cary, NC as our dogs must be seen by a BFPA veterinarian for all medical care prior to adoptions being finalized. Our foster guardians deliver foster dogs to their new homes for adoption trials and we do home visits to finalize all adoptions.
