FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS:  Tater Tot is an outgoing bundle of fun loving puppy.  She is part of the "potato gang" litter.  She loves to be held and loves playing with her siblings.  She can't wait to see what the world has to offer her!  

Tater Tot's Mother is a 15 lb Aussie mix and the father is unknown, possibly a boxer or lab.   

EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Tater Tot and her siblings were owner surrender puppies.  A BFPA foster knew of this litter and kindly brought them into her home.  They are now part of the BFPA family and are looking for their forever homes.

ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: Requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to people who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Puppies can be vocal when left alone and shared walls are sometimes an issue.  Any children in the home under 6 years old must have experience living with a dog in their home.

PLEASE NOTE:  Tater Tot has only had one set of vaccines so if a trial adoption begins before the second set of vaccines around 4/21/18 , the potential adopters will have to keep her in their home and yard to minimize the risk of exposure to germs.   Interaction with unknown dogs at pet stores, doggie day care, dog parks and any public areas where other dogs may frequent must be avoided during this period.

Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina.  All animals will be up to date on all  vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro chipped before the adoption  is finalized. Fee is $225 for dogs, $115 for cats.
