She is very friendly to all people and is a bit timid around new dogs. Once she gets to know other dogs though, she loves to play with them. She is curious, respectful and timid around cats. French Fry does well with children and wants to get on their lap and give kisses. She sleeps in her crate doing the day when necessary and does fine. We are letting her sleep in the bedroom with our daughter at night since she is such a good girl. We are working on housebreaking and using puppy pads when necessary. She is doing well but still needs monitoring and frequent outside breaks. French Fry loves walks, playing with dogs, playing with people, cuddling on your lap and can't wait to greet us when we come in the door! She is such a great puppy....active, friendly, quiet (rarely barks), smart (knows how to sit) and is just an overall joy to have around. French Fry is enjoying life as a puppy and exploring the world....wondering what is in store for her! Please consider making her a part of your family. French Fry's mother was a 15 lb. possible Aussie mix and her father is unknown. Possibly a terrier or boxer. She probably won't be a very large dog. EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: French Fry and the rest of the "potato gang" were owner surrenders. A BFPA foster knew about the puppies and kindly brought them into her home. They are now part of the BFPA family and are looking for their forever homes. Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed. ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: Requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to people who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Puppies can be vocal when left alone and shared walls are sometimes an issue. Any children in the home under 6 years old must have experience living with a dog in their home. INTERESTED IN ADOPTING FRENCH FRY? If so, please fill out our dog adoption application by copying and pasting this link in a new browser window: https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=WHMSYCNC PLEASE NOTE: FRENCH FRY has only had one set of vaccines so if a trial adoption begins before the second set of vaccines (approximately 4/21 ) , the potential adopters will have to keep French Fry in their home and yard to minimize the risk of exposure to germs. Interaction with unknown dogs at pet stores, doggie day care, dog parks and any public areas where other dogs may frequent should be avoided during this period.
