CANELA'S   SAD  STORY.  PLEASE HELP  HER!!!

Canela is female lab mix around 10 years old.  She weighs around 50 lbs and is healthy and is very active for a dog that age. She has been a perfect companion to Olga for 8 years.  Canela was two  years old when a friend could no longer take care of her.  Olga took her in and they quickly bonded.  Olga soon wondered who rescued who.   Now Canela is facing life without Olga and hopes that you can find it in your heart to open your home to her.  Unfortunately, Olga found out that she has cancer and has to return to her home country.  It breaks her heart but she cannot take Canela with her.  

Canela is a sweet girl.   She has perfect house manners, totally housebroken and doesn't need to be crated.  She is a friendly dog and especially likes children. With proper introductions, she does well with other dogs but can be very happy being an only dog.  She currently does not live in a home with a fence so will do fine without one.  She is a quiet dog who only barks to alert you that someone is around the house or at the door.  

Canela likes to go for car rides and on walks.  She walks fine on a leash and responds to "slow down" and "wait for me".  Her owner Olga states:  She is sweet, protective and great companion.  Canela is a great listener and the best co-pilot ever. I have never heard any complaints from her sitters ever. She is good sport too, not a party pooper. She is a warrior, she has handled my illness well.
