FOSTER COMMENTS:
Weasley is a friendly little terrier mix dog who only needs a bit of time to warm up and show you his love and goofy personality. He gets along well with other dogs and does really well with cats. He has not been around young children yet. He has moderate energy level...plays and then sleeps!
Weasley is almost totally housebroken which is great for a puppy. We take him outside about every three hours.
He is crate trained and sleeps well in his crate all night. He has been walked on a leash and does well especially with an older dog in front of him to "show him the ropes"!
Weasley loves to play and is a typical puppy who enjoys all aspects of his new life. He would probably do best in home with another dog. If he doesn't have another dog to play with, he would love a lot of human interaction.
He loves toys and running around the yard. Weasley is independent but also enjoys the company of humans and other dogs.
He knows "sit" and "come" already. He is so sweet, cuddly and loving. Weasley is going to fill your day with smile and kisses. Are you ready for him???
EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Weasley was found as a stray and taken to a rural shelter. BFPA was happy to rescue this cute little guy and we are not searching for his forever home.

ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: Requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to people who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Puppies can be vocal when left alone and shared walls are sometimes an issue. Any children in the home under 6 years old must have experience living with a dog in their home.
