FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Iris is a typical, cute puppy who is all about exploring and playing.  She and her siblings play hard and then take long naps.  Her Mother is a terrier mix and weighs around 40 lbs.  We do not know how large Iris will be as an adult but perhaps like her Mom.  Iris has a gorgeous brindle coat.  Right now she is just a tiny bundle of cuteness who wants to be cuddled and loved.  Could you consider giving her a forever home??  

EVERY DOG HAS A STORY:  Iris and her 8 siblings were born on 6/6/18 while her Mom, Eloise,  was in the care of BFPA.  A wonderful lady saw that Eloise was in a shelter and was soon  to be euthanized unless a rescue group could save her.  She approached BFPA to see if we could take in the poor girl.  We were happy to help and not only saved Eloise (already on trial adoption) but also her 9 puppies!  The happy, healthy puppies are looking for their forever homes and hope you can continue to give them the best life has to offer them.  They are lucky pups!

ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: Requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to people who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Puppies can be vocal when left alone and shared walls are sometimes an issue.  Any children in the home under 6 years old must have experience living with a dog in their home.
