At 52 pounds she is the perfect medium to large size dog. She is a very friendly dog; she gets along with other dogs and also does well with cats. Zinnia has been around children and does well. She loves attention and gets excited when there are play buddies around. Her mom calls her Lacey Mae. She is a mostly quiet dog with the occasional muffled barks when she tries to tell you that something interesting is happening. Zinnia is completely housebroken and can be left alone for a full workday without any accidents. She has an appropriate moderate energy level for her age. She is very good about entertaining herself and also loves to chill with you. She does not require a fenced in yard (she does not have one currently) but of course one of those is always a nice to have feature if available. Zinnia is crate trained and used to her crate. At night she sleeps with her mom in the bed but she is also perfectly content with sleeping in her crate or on the floor/dog bed. Zinnia does very well on a leash. She is used to walking with a gentle lead/easy walk harness on. She is currently and only dog and does well with this situation; she also very much loves the company of other dogs so she could go either way. Zinnia is used to apartment living as she has been living in one for quite a while. She does really well with this arrangement. She knows her basic commands like a champ. Zinnia loves to play with other dogs, she loves to cuddle and give all the kisses. She loves to play with her toys with you and play fetch. She is an all around sweetheart. She is lovable and a people pleaser. She has the cutest face and is so welcoming. She is a great listener and very easy to teach. Zinnia/Lacey Mae is looking for her forever home, her new family. Could it be you? EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Zinnia was adopted into a wonderful home but her owner's work schedule has changed so much that Zinnia is alone and being boarded too often due to her owner's travel schedule. While it breaks her current owner's heart to find a new home for Zinnia/Lacey Mae, she knows it is in the best interest going forward for this sweet girl. She needs a home where her people are not traveling all the time and can spend quality time with her. INTERESTED IN ADOPTING ZINNIA ?
