Piper and Raja are great dogs and we are sad to have to find new homes for them. They are both friendly dogs who are a little over 3 years old.  The female is Piper (white markings)who weighs about 55 and the male is Raja who weighs 70lbs.  Both are altered and up to date on all vaccines.

Does your dog get along with other dogs? Not really, we do not take them both to socialize with other dogs, so their reaction tends to be different.

How does your dog do with cats? Unknown

Has your dog been around children and if so, how did it go? Yes, for a year and 3 months and it's fine.

Is your dog vocal or quiet?  They both tend to be vocal sometimes.

Is your foster dog housebroken? Yes.

How long can your dog be left without having to go outside to do “their business”? They usually stay in the yard while no one is home, but if the weather does not permit them to be outside they can stay home for up to 10-12 hours without any issues.

Describe your dogs activity level….low, moderate or high energy? High energy

Do you think your dog needs a fenced in yard or it this just a “nice to have” feature?

They need a fenced yard.

Are you crate training your dog and if so, how does the dog react?

No, but they don’t have a bad reaction when going into their crate. We don’t use it, maybe 6-8 times a year.

Where does the dog sleep at night? They have a designated area in the house with their beds.

Are you leash walking your dog?  If so, how is that going?

They are both being leash walked, they can pull quite a bit when walking.

What are some of your fosters favorite things to do? They love toys, walks, and attention.

Do you think your dog could be an only dog? Yes, but we'd like to keep them together. They have been together since birth.

Does your dog know any basic commands…sit, stay, come? Yes

Why should someone adopt your dog, what are his/her strong points? They are great dogs. So much love to give, playful, cuddly, and can occupy someone's loneliness.

Do you know how much your dog weighs and what the potential weight might be?

Raja tends to weigh 70-75lbs and piper 55 lb. They are bluenose pit bulls.

The only reason we are rehoming our beloved dogs is because we're pregnant and expecting soon (December). This is our third child, and our home has become too small for all of us. Also, with the baby coming and our daily life's routine, it has and will be extremely difficult to give those dogs the life that they deserve. Our attention has deviated away from them and our busy home and busy lives is depriving them the love that they need and crave. We hope to find them someone that can compensate them for all of that.
