FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Cash is a friendly dog who loves people. He has been around older children and did great. He can be selective when choosing doggie friends. He seems to get along with female dogs and loves to play. But he does not like male dogs. Right now, we are working on some training with him and avoiding contact with male dogs. Because of this, he would not be a good fit for a dog park or doggie day care. He does not live with cats but he does like to chase squirrels so he might be the same with cats.
He is crated for short periods of time during the day when he is alone. His foster works from home so he has never been crated all day. Cash is not crated at night and sleep on his doggie bed. He is housebroken but still needs to be let out a few times during the day. At night, he is fine during his sleeping time, about 7 hours.
He is very active and loves to run around the yard so a fenced yard is a must for this guy! Cash would do best in a home with a female dog that likes to play. He would probably be a good jogging partner too.
Cash is a great dog. He has so much potential and is very smart. He knows some basic commands and will blossom with more training. He loves to snuggle and give kisses and will be perfect for a very active family with a fenced yard and another young active dog, probably a female. We have fallen in love with him :)

Applicants must live no further than one hour from Cary NC as our dogs must be seen by a BFPA veterinarian for all medical care prior to adoptions being finalized. Our foster guardians deliver dogs to their new homes for adoption trials and we do home visits to finalize all adoptions. We therefore require applicants to live within an hours drive of Cary NC.
