FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Nog is enjoying life to the fullest. He is in a wonderful foster home and doing great.  He is a typical puppy who is happy, and fun loving.  Puppies this young need to be taken outside often so they can be housebroken.  So  anyone looking for a puppy should be realistic in the work puppies take initially. Nog is working hard to learn house manners and hopes that you will consider making him a part of your family.

Nog will require 2 more rounds of vaccinations as well as spay/neuter around the age of 4 months, this is all covered by the adoption fee.  Please see specific requirements for puppy adoption below.

EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: They were found on the side of the road in a cardboard box and ended up in a local rural shelter.  Picture of mom (Brandy) is also included in the profile.

ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: Requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to people who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Puppies can be vocal when left alone and shared walls are sometimes an issue.  Any children in the home under 6 years old must have experience living with a dog in their home.

INTERESTED IN ADOPTING  NOG ? If so, please fill out our dog adoption application by copying and pasting this link in a new browser window: https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=WHMSYCNC

PLEASE NOTE: NOG has only had one set of vaccines so if a trial adoption begins before the second set of vaccines, the potential adopters will have to keep NOG in their home and yard to minimize the risk of exposure to germs.   Interaction with unknown dogs at pet stores, doggie day care, dog parks and any public areas where other dogs may frequent should be avoided during this period.
