FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Tiana is a sweet puppy who is in a wonderful foster home and learning to live the good life! She is typically puppy who is  happy and playful.  Puppies need to be taken outside often to housebreak them so anyone looking for a puppy should be realistic in the work puppies take initially.  She is hoping that you will consider making her a part of your family.   Tiana will require 2 more rounds of vaccinations as well as her spay around the age of 4 months, this is all covered by the adoption fee.  Please see specific requirements for puppy adoption below.

EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: The Princess pups, as they are known, came into the local county shelter.  Puppies are highly susceptible to disease until they've received all of their booster shots so BFPA was happy step in and take these pups in. Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed.

ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: Requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to people who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Puppies can be vocal when left alone and shared walls are sometimes an issue.  Any children in the home under 6 years old must have experience living with a dog in their home.

PLEASE NOTE: Tiana has only had one set of vaccines so if a trial adoption begins before the second set of vaccines, the potential adopters will have to keep Tiana in their home and yard to minimize the risk of exposure to germs.   Interaction with unknown dogs at pet stores, doggie day care, dog parks and any public areas where other dogs may frequent should be avoided during this period.

Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed. We do home visits to finalize adoptions and/or deliver the adopted dog. Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina.  All animals will be up to date on all  vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro chipped before the adoption  is finalized. Fee is $225 for dogs, $115 for cats.
