He will try to say hello to everyone he sees. He gets along well with other dogs and tries to initiate contact with any he sees with his tail wagging wildly. Calvin has not met a cat yet but his foster mom says that he is very friendly with everyone and everything he meets so she thinks he will likely do well with cats also. Calvin is having the time of his life with humans of all sizes. He is gentle and affectionate with smaller kids and wants to give lots of kisses. With older ones he wants to be petted and will roll over for a belly rub. Calvin is a mostly quiet dog and he is completely housebroken as well. Calvin loves nothing more than to be around his people and he prefers not to be left alone for very long stretches of time. Calvin can be crated for short periods but it's not his favorite place to be. He would do best with someone who works from home or is home a lot. Calvin is a very mellow youngster. He loves to go on walks and also likes to play. He is also very content to lay by while you work and is his happiest when his people are around him. He does very well sleeping in his foster's bedroom at night without a crate. Calvin would do well with walks if there wasn't a backyard available but of course those are always nice for a dog to have. Calvin is working on his basic commands; he knows sit and is working on stay at the moment. He is very people oriented so come has been a given from the start. Calvin would do really well as an only dog since he is so into his people but would also be a happy fur brother as well. Calvin loves people. He loves to snuggle, he will follow you from room to room to be nearby and his tail is always wagging. Calvin absolutely loves his walks. EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Calvin was found in Dublin County along with another dog. His rescuer could not find his owner and BFPA was happy to admit this handsome guy. We are now looking for a forever home for Calvin. Could that be your home? Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed.
