YOU MUST SUBMIT AN APPLICATION IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN MAPLE. FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: If you are looking for a sweet dog with an hilarious personality, Maple is for you. Maple is timid upon first meeting new people but then is incredibly friendly! She loves people! She loves her human attention and needs to be an only dog. She will vocalize to let you know when she wants something. We have not seen her around cats or children yet.
Maple who is around one year old is housebroken and can last 8 hours and probably longer between potty breaks. She is crate trained and loves her crate! She goes in very easily and behaves well in her crate and sleeps in there at night. Maple is super smart and knows sit, shake (your hand), rest (lay down), stand up, come, and is very trainable with treats!
Maple is a high energy dog! She loves to play and be active. She is capable of settling down and sleeping when there is not much going on but definitely needs to get energy out each day. Because of her activity level, she needs a fenced in yard. We are working on her leash manners but a potential adopter will need to continue her training since she can be leash reactive when meeting other dogs.
Maple loves playing tug of war, playing soccer in the yard, and going for lots of walks! She is very affectionate and is always showing you how excited she is to see you! She is a great companion and will keep a smile on your face all day long. She loves to play but can also play by herself. She is very eager to learn and please which will help with training. She is an incredibly happy dog. Are you Maple's forever family? Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed. As time went on, she and another female dog in the household started having difficulties getting along. It was determined by an animal behaviorist that the two dogs should not be living together and the sad decision was made to find a new home for Maple (now called Maggie).
