He gets along well with other dogs. He is not living with cats currently but his foster mom thinks due to his temperament he would be just fine. He can be cat tested before adoption trial. He has not had the pleasure of being around kids in his current foster home at this point. He is still very young and would likely love to have some dog and/or human play buddies around. George is a generally quiet pup. He is still a puppy so he has his moments of playful barking if he wants you to interact with him but he truly is mostly very quiet for his age. He is learning to be an inside dog and is working very hard on his housebreaking. He is very close to be housebroken and only has the occasional accident. He has been left for up to 3-4 hours in between potty breaks so far. As he gets older and gets used to a routine he will be able to go a bit longer. He is working on his basic commands. Right now they're practicing "sit". George has a low to moderate energy level. He has moments of playful puppy energy and then lots of chill snuggle/nap time. His foster is not using a crate for him at this time and he sleeps in their bedroom on the floor on this dog bed at night. A fenced in yard would certainly be a nice to have feature for all dogs but his foster thinks that he would do fine if one of those isn't available. George has only been with us for a short time and has not started leash walking yet. He promises that he will start very soon and work hard on this to be the perfect boy for you. His foster thinks he would not mind being an only dog. He would also be ok in an apartment due to his quiet nature and lower energy level. George loves to snuggle up on your lap at any given time. His favorite toys are his rope toy and his giant stuffed animal. He is a very snuggly, happy and good-natured dog. He is very attractive and a great size to be either a house or apartment dog. He is a "good boy" in every sense of the phrase. He has good doggie manners especially for a pup his age. He loves his snuggles and is always eager to please. He gets along well with other dogs and is very quiet. His fosters love having him in their home. George is looking for his happy ending. He will be the perfect companion for his future family.
