COMMENTS: MEET THE NORTH CAROLINA CITY PUPPIES! 

Eden is a fun, curious puppy who is exploring the world and having a good time doing so!  She was born around 6/6/2019 and will be ready for an adoption trial anytime after 8/3/2019. Applications can be submitted now and once approved, a meet and greet can be scheduled.

Puppies are very cute but also take a lot of time and effort.  People who consider adopting a puppy this young need to take into account the pups house breaking needs and also understand the amount of time and training that a puppy needs.  You will be rewarded with years of devotion and a friend by your side.    

Eden's mom, Raleigh, weighs 56 lbs so the puppies may reach this size. A photo of her is included above.

BFPA covers the cost of all puppy vaccinations, flea/tick control, heart worm medicine, all medical treatments including spaying at age around 4 months.   Please also read the requirements listed below for adopting a young puppy from BFPA. 

EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Eden's mom, Raleigh, wandered into a yard in a rural community and gave birth to 7 puppies.  The homeowner kept them safe and was able to have them admitted into BFPA.  We are now looking for forever homes for these cute, fun puppies.

ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: Requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to people who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Puppies can be vocal when left alone and shared walls are sometimes an issue. Puppies who only have one round of vaccines, cannot live in an apartment or townhome.  Any children in the home under 6 years old must have experience living with a dog in their home.

PLEASE NOTE: Eden has only had one set of vaccines so if a trial adoption begins before the second set of vaccines, the potential adopters will have to keep her in their home and yard to minimize the risk of exposure to germs.   Interaction with unknown dogs at pet stores, doggie day care, dog parks, apartment common grounds and any public areas where other dogs may frequent should be avoided during this period.

Fee is $225 for dogs, $115 for cats.
