You MUST complete an application at bfpa.org to be considered for this dog. Meet the Office Puppies! Pam is a fun loving puppy who is getting ready to venture out into the world on her own! She can't wait to explore and start her new life. Pam is looking for her forever home and can't wait to meet you. While puppies can be a lot of fun, adopters need to be realistic in the amount of training, patience and time a puppy will need to develop into the best dog possible. An adopter needs to able to provide frequents potty breaks during the day to help with housebreaking. At this young age, they will nip, bite and mouth so being around very small, young children isn't always a good fit. Please see additional information below about adopting a puppy from BFPA. If you can provide the proper environment for a puppy, please fill out an application below now! You will be rewarded by love and loyalty for many years to come. The adoption fee of $275 covers all puppy vaccines, deworming, rabies vaccine, microchip, spay and any miscellaneous medical issues which arise prior to being finalized. BFPA will also supply flea/tick meds and heartworm preventatives until Pam is finalized after her spay at around 4 months of age. ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: Requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to people who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Puppies can be vocal when left alone and shared walls can be an issue. Any children in the home under 6 years old must have experience living with a dog in their home. PLEASE NOTE: If a trial adoption begins before the second set of vaccines in mid-March, the potential adopters will have to keep Pam in their home and yard to minimize the risk of exposure to germs. Interaction with unknown dogs at pet stores, doggie day care, dog parks, apartment common grounds and any public areas where other dogs may frequent should be avoided during this period. Puppies CANNOT live in apartments or townhomes with shared common ground until after their second round of vaccines. EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Pam and her siblings were surrendered to a rural shelter. BFPA was contacted because a shelter is no place for such young puppies. We acted immediately to bring these darling puppies to a wonderful foster and they became part of the Best Friend Pet Adoption family. They all are eager to find their forever homes.
