Jack is a 4yo black lab mix that weighs 52lbs.  He was an owner surrender to the WCAC and is believed to have been hit by a car.  He had not been putting any weight in his front leg so he went to VSH for xrays.  Turns out he has a broken leg and in pain for some time.  He will need to have surgery.

Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina.  All animals will be up to date on all  vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro chipped before the adoption  is finalized. Fee is $225 for dogs, $115 for cats.
