FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Are you looking for a low maintenance, chill, snuggly, affectionate, pup that likes to give you kisses, then Zoe is your dog! Zoe is timid at first, then opens up and wants to be a snuggler and play. She enjoys wrestling with our dog Roxi. Zoe can run, she and Roxi chase each other around the yard and up and down stairs pretty much every hour or so. And when they aren’t, they snuggle next to each other napping We have had her a short time, so she has not been around cats or children. She is a quiet dog who will make noises when she wants to play or wants your attention. She can be silly and stands on her hind legs and air begs for attention! She is almost potty trained! We are home all the time now so she goes out about every 3-4 hours during the day, she sleep through the night fine about 6-7 hours. At night she sleeps in the bed with our family. She’s decided to join the cuddle pile now and sleeps by my face! Zoe loves to walk. She's a bit of a wanderer but with slight correction she’ll watch you and follow what you are doing. She doesn’t pull too much. Zoe's favorite thing to do are, wrestling with Roxi and chasing her around the house, snuggling next to us, chewing on antlers, and sitting/curled up by our feet. Zoe would do best in a home with a sibling dog that likes to play and a fenced yard for them to burn off their energy. We don't think she would do well as an only dog. Zoe is a great little dog, definitely a smart cookie. Picks up things quickly and is used to being handled (picking her up, trimming her nails, wiping her feet, etc.). She’s got the cutest little flip up ears and is the perfect size for a dog :) Is your family ready to welcome Zoe in? EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Zoe was an owner surrender to a small, rural shelter. The owner felt they could no longer care for Zoe so we are now looking for a forever home for her. Could you give her the time and attention that she would love??
