OK, I am going to take him off the website while you are gone. There is another applicant interested and I will update that family to see if they want to wait until after the 12th for further updates. It appears that they are not looking elsewhere. Please keep me updated when he is scheduled to have his meet and greet so I can keep this other applicant also updated. Thanks and have a safe trip.
You MUST submit an application at BFPA.org if you are interested in Mac! FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS: Meet Mac a 2 year old, 60 pound Plott Hound mix young dog. Are you an energetic human looking for a very good companion and/or a companion for your other dogs? Meet Mac, a cute and friendly young dog who loves to go on walks/hikes and play games. Mac will be timid when he first meets you but super friendly once he get use to his people. Mac has been an instant buddy with our two dogs and with a friends’ dog, and has politely greeted other dogs during our walks. He has not been around cats or children yet. Mac is very smart and is house trained and crate trained. He will go in the crate on command. At night he sleeps in his crate and can go 10 hours without having to go out to the bathroom. Mac has alot of puppy energy. He needs a fenced backyard to run and play. He needs an active human to exercise him and play ball with him, he would prefer a furry buddy to chase and be chased in that fenced backyard. He loves very long walks/hikes with his people and greeting other dogs along the way. A five mile walk daily would make him happy! If you are looking for a loyal companion who will cuddle with you after an active day and wants nothing more than lots of pets and your love, Mac is your dog.
