EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Maddie was found on the side of a rural road along with her siblings. They were probably dumped there to fend for themselves. A BFPA volunteer saved them and they were admitted to our rescue. They are now on their way to a wonderful life with a loving family. Could that be YOU?? Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed. ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM BFPA: Requires that you live no further than a 30-mile radius from the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We prefer to adopt young puppies to people who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Puppies can be vocal when left alone and shared walls are sometimes an issue. Any children in the home under 6 years old must have experience living with a dog in their home. INTERESTED IN ADOPTING MADDIE ? If so, please fill out our dog adoption application by copying and pasting this link in a new browser window: https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=WHMSYCNC PLEASE NOTE: Maddie has only had one set of vaccines so if a trial adoption begins before the second set of vaccines, the potential adopters will have to keep her in their home and yard to minimize the risk of exposure to germs. Interaction with unknown dogs at pet stores, doggie day care, dog parks, apartment common grounds and any public areas where other dogs may frequent should be avoided during this period.
Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed. We do home visits to finalize adoptions and/or deliver the adopted dog. Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina.
All animals will be up to date on all
vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro chipped before the adoption
is finalized. Fee is $225 for dogs, $115 for cats.
