Newfoundland Dog / Hound / Mixed (long coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Baby : : Large Learn more about the Newfoundland Dog.
Last night we took in 6 puppies that were part of a larger group of 17 puppies between two litters. Another rescue reached out to see if BFPA would help take some puppies since they couldn't manage all 17 on their own. Luckily we were able to come up with 3 fosters the same day that was willing to take pairs since we are told they are only 6 weeks old.
They came from a family in the Mt Airy area and they were all on the same property, 2 females and one male. Apparently the 2 females are sisters (maybe hound mixes) and the dad is a newfie. I have included the pics they shared with me of the parents...Clearly they have taken the genes from the dad as they are all black and white and some with fluff. The puppies were all mixed together so we are not sure if they are full siblings or half siblings. There are 5 males and 1 female and will be the "Mayberry Puppies".
