Raider is a black and white 2 yo, 22 lb dog....maybe a whippet/poodle/ terrier mix.   He has course hair but does not shed a lot.  He is more on the timid side until he knows you. He gets along well with other dogs.  Raider has not been around children with in his foster home.  He is very quiet and has moderate energy. He is housebroken and crate trained. 

Raider does walk on a leash but prefers to be in a yard off leash. He would love to have a yard when he can run around and lay in the sun.  He loves stuffed toys and chew toys.
 
Raider is a great dog who deserves a kind adopter who will be gentle, loving, and patient.  
 
He is very intelligent and he will make a wonderful companion to someone who works from home or a retired couple.  Do you have the right forever home for this sweet boy?

Applicants must live no further than one hour from Cary NC as our dogs must be seen by a BFPA veterinarian for all medical care prior to adoptions being finalized.  Our foster guardians deliver dogs to their new homes for adoption trials and we do home visits to finalize all adoptions.  We therefore require applicants to live within an hours drive of Cary NC.

Therefore, we prefer potential adopters live a reasonable distance to the Triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) of North Carolina.  All animals will be up to date on all  vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro chipped before the adoption  is finalized. Fee is $225 for dogs, $115 for cats.
