OAKLEY MUST HAVE A FENCED YARD.

FOSTER COMMENTS:  Oakley aka as Ozzy is a 3 yo husky mix who weighs around 54lbs.  If you are an outdoor lover, then Ozzy  would be your outdoor companion.  He loves to go running and hiking.  

He is very friendly and likes to be with dogs his size or larger. His forever home should not include small dogs or children under 13 as they stress him out. 

He is good with cats, but he does want to play with them and sometimes will chase for fun.  So I would only have him around a cat that is very tolerant of that.  

Oakley is housebroken and walks well on a leash with a little pulling though. So further training would be advised.  We do not crate him but he has used a crate in the past. 

He has a lot of energy. However, if he has a dog buddy to play with, it helps keep his energy down. A couple of walks a day and play with my dog and I get a lot of downtime out of him. Plays hard, sleeps hard.  

He loves to have his belly rubbed and be called a handsome boy. He loves his ball and will run around with it in his mouth and then throw it in the air and grab at it by himself. He loves walks and just snuggling (once he is comfortable with you) absolutely loves treats. He wants to be with someone all the time. He is not a loner. 

He could an only dog but I think only if there is someone home all the time. He does not like being alone. Does fine if he has a friend but when alone, he cries and whines a lot.  

He is very smart, easily trainable, great companion. Ozzy is very loyal and so loving. Just a really energetic, love bug.  He will bring joy into your home.  Please consider this handsome boy!
